Black Anvil New York purveyors of black metal, Black Anvil, have announced the long awaited follow up to 2010's Triumvirate, and their third record since their 2007 birth.

The gloriously titled Hail Death gets a worldwide release on May 27th through Relapse records. Recorded by former Jawbox man J. Robbins, Hail Death was crafted through heavy personal turmoil with the band members, which they've used as creative guile to complete a record which will no doubt erupt the New York black metal scene.

Here's a teaser trailer for the upcoming album.

Stunningly packaged, the artwork comes courtesy of Metastazis, who has previously worked for Behemoth and Black Dahlia Marder.
